JePPIX has successfully brought the European InP photonic integrated circuit (PIC) community together as a coherent force to advance and promote technology. JePPIX provides:

  • Open access technology. The Process Design Kit (PDK) at the heart of the multiproject wafers technology provides seamless cooperation between designers, software developers, fabs, and prototype builders and one-stop-shop brokering.
  • Technology acceleration, enabling major advances in technology building blocks, leveraging know-how from multiple academic and industrial partners, across a number of joint R&D projects. JePPIX R&D focusses on InP and SiNx integration platforms and also hybrid combinations.
  • Training events and technology forums enable designers to skill-up and connect with innovators and experts in the photonic integration eco-system. JePPIX connects at expos, workshops and offers training courses around the globe.

PhotonDelta is recognised as one of European leading innovation hubs. We are establishing three pillars under PhotonDelta:
•The Institute of Photonic Integration builds on 40 years of optics research at TU/e – in cooperation with other nanotechnology centres like Mesa+ at the University of Twente and Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
•PhotonDelta has officially launched the Co-operative, a consortium of scale-ups, manufacturers and investors. The goal is to build win-win situations for members, including early access to Research IP.
•The Photonics Integration technology centre is currently being established, branching out on Europe-wide work done in circuits and components by the JePPIX consortium. Photonic Integration Conference 2017 welcomes PIC Magazine as Media Partner

About PIC International magazine

, simulation, fabrication, testing, packaging and measurement of photonic integrated circuits, including a ‘deep dive’ into the various materials platforms from today’s InP technology through to challenges from silicon photonics and polymer systems. Beyond that, the title will highlight research breakthroughs with commercial potential and examine customer requirements.
The publication brings together suppliers, designers and manufacturers across the PIC ecosystem from development through to application, providing a forum for the community to share opinions on the challenges ahead, roadmap progress and open up new markets.
