"Photonic integration developments in China" – Presented by Sailing He, Zhejiang University

Recent progresses in the fields of silicon photonics, graphene photonics, nanoplasmonics are reviewed with some research highlights on wavelength/mode (de)multiplexing devices, optical switches, micro-cavities and transparent electrodes, etc. Besides photonic integration research in Mainland China, some national and international research fundings/programs supported by the government of China will also be discussed.

About Sailing He

Sailing He received Ph.D. degree from KTH, Sweden, in 1992. Since then he has worked at KTH from an assistant professor to a full professor. He is also a national distinguished professor (through “Qian-Ren” program) at Zhejiang University, China.

He has authored/co-authored over 500 papers in refereed international journals.
