The Integrated Photonics Systems Roadmap – International (IPSR-I) sets the technological challenges of Integrated Photonics for the upcoming 15 years. The roadmap is a result of the merger of AIM Photonics (USA) IPSR and the output of Photon Delta’s World Technology Mapping Forum. The roadmap shows the consensus of 300 participants from over the globe on the future needs for the industry. Efficient development of the technology to meet market demands required alignment of the full ecosystem.
In this presentation I will talk about the main high-lights of the roadmap, how you can be involved and the alignment of the ecosystem.
What drives you?
Bringing together innovation ecosystems and help them to achieve success.
Why should the delegate attend your presentation?
The most recent high-lights from the IPSR-I.
What emerging technologies/trends do you see as having the greatest potential in the short and long run?
Technologies that allow current capabilities to be prototyped rapidly and wafer scale integration.
What kind of impact do you expect them to have?
Solving many societal challenges such as those in agrofood, climate and healthcare.
What are the barriers that might stand in the way?
Lack of trust.
