About Stijn Grove
As almost a datacenter & cloud veteran, Stijn Grove is the Managing Director of the Dutch Datacenter Association. The DDA connects the market-leading data centers in the Netherlands to strengthen economic growth and drive awareness of data centers in Dutch society. DDA stimulates interaction between its participants, partners, government, interest groups and platforms. It profiles and promotes the role, impact and significance of the data center industry in our society and represents the interests of the DDA participants. DDA takes initiatives and coordinates these initiatives in the areas of sustainability, security and IT education.
Next to his work for the DDA he is promotor of the Dutch digital hub known as the Digital Gateway to Europe (Digitale Mainport). And he is the co-initiator of the Digital Infrastructure Netherlands foundation.
DINL is the umbrella organisation for the Dutch digital Infrastructure sector. DINL successfully combines the hosting & cloud sector organisations, AMS-IX , Dutch Domain Register, SURFnet, VVR, Nederland ICT and NLnet foundation. DINL is the main counterpart for the Dutch government on all internet infrastructure related issues.
Stijn Grove has previously worked for UUNET, Verizon Business, Samsung Telecom, Colt Telecom and EvoSwitch Datacenters in Senior Operational and Sales Management roles. He is an avid industry blogger and columnist in many IT publications in The Netherlands. He is a featured speaker on data center and digital infrastructure industry trends.
